Hi just a couple of not so great pictures of my new headunit, absolutely loving it. iPhone compatability is spot on! and the sound quality of th standard speakers has definately definately improved!!
If you are considering getting a double din headunit then GO FOR IT! I was in two minds wether to go for it or not because it is not cheap but i wanted it so here it is!

We have that head unit in the motorhome and yes they are not cheap

Looks good though i am thinking about getting a double din mainly so i can have bluetooth. And i dont want a car kit as i think they look a bit

Looking good mate,myself looking for double din at mo..Does it stick out the dash that much or is it flush like the original?

Wel it does stick out a bit but when you see it in the flesh it isnt as half bad as what u think it is, definately looks good as it is!

I think someone on here has modded theirs so it sticks properly flush to the dash which is what i wanted to do. but once i fitted it it didnt look too bad at all so left it as it was.

i'll try and get other pictures later!

oh yeah and in the dark all you can see of the centre console is the lit screen so it looks flush then

I have just ordered the AVH-P3100DVD Wondering weither the standard speakers will sound good with it

yeah mate the sound quality is noticeably better! no distortion in the speakers when there is bass. but i have turned my bass down slightly and its spot on! very good solid sound now

I have the AVH-P3100DVD head unit in my car, you will notice a difference in sound qulity from the standard speakers, very good piece of kit for the money.... The dolby soround sound is cool on the DVD s aswell lol 8)

yeah i got all the steering controls, its a definate must! works spot on with everything!
