Afternoon all

Just spoken to the guys at Mountune about the RS Recirc valve they do.

I asked whether it'll fit the ST and if it would actually be beneficial in anyway considering it was designed for the MR375.
Their response was...

'' Our re-circ valve will fit the Focus ST.
However, whether this improves the engine we can't tell you, as it is spec'd for the RS and we don't know officially what it does when run on the ST''

My question is, has anyone had this fitted (or does anyone have any experience with it) and could they shed more light on the subject?
Any problems, benefits, gains etc... that have been noticeable?

If you want one I would pop in the forge with the green spring if your less than 300bhp, yellow if your over.

The MT one is designed for a higher boost pressure than the ST can make, so im fairly sure it wont work properly.

They are vital on an
to get rid of the annoying "mouse squeak" the standard recirc makes.

I've got the forge yellow spring works great and a friend has just added the mountune to his 290 and all smiles so far.
No really performance benefit just makes the Turbo chatter and stops the cruising whistles.
