Hi all,

I just checked the Mountune website and saw that they're selling their downpipe and sports cat for £599 on Monday 7 December so I thought I'd give you the heads up just in case any of you miss out on it. I've already got the Mountune catback so this should complement it nicely!

Cheers Ian, I will be on the blower to them in the morning with my debit card. Timing is just right for me. Mick
I also have stock of Ferrita's Swedish designed and made stainless d'pipe for the Volvo built ST engine with premium 100cel Kemira/Ecocat cat in stock in the UK.

£585 including VAT and mainland delivery by TNT overnight.

I have been tempted all day, but have so far resisted. I think I have spent too much on exhausts this year!
i was pleased with the mountune map as it was but adding a downpipe and sportcat really seems to have brought it to life, the noise is addictive
i dont know about noticing "more power" but its definately livelier and picks up quicker than before
I ordered the downpipe and sports-cat earlier and can't wait to have it fitted. I wonder how long it'll be before Mountune release a CAIS?

i think one is in the pipeline but i,m 99% certain that while the d/pipe s/cat work fine a cais will need the map to be tweaked, so theres a bit of organisation required on mountunes part if they were to release one, that said i,ll be right at the front of the que
Sod the a CAIS i would rather put the money towards a diff

How much louder does the cat-back and sports cat/downpipe make it? I don't mind it sounding nice but I don't want to be heard miles away lol I hate noisy exhausts just rings chav round here lol

loko, you're probably right about them taking a bit of time with the CAIS because some other members on these boards have mentioned that fitting an aftermarket induction kit to an ST260 actually seemed to reduce their car's performance. It'll be the next logical mod for me if they do release one and an accompanying ECU update although I'm starting to wonder where the modding will end when there's expensive gear such as an LSD and big brake conversions dangled in front of us like carrots on a stick! I had a serious look at the RS a few weeks ago when I took my car in for a service but I had to take a step back and wonder if the extra £14000 outlay was REALLY worth it, especially as the salesman I'm friendly with was blown away with my car when I took him for a drive.

i went down the RS route myself even going as far as to put a deposit down on one, but when i stood back and looked what i had and what i was going to get for spending another 11k it just didnt add up, RS order cancelled and ST mountuned

loko, you're a wise man. I was so close to ordering an RS but soon realised that I was just being too greedy when my car was already a beast!
Received my Mountune down pipe and sports cat today, nice bit of kit, seems a shame to have to hide it under the car ha ha. Getting it fitted at mountune on friday. Hope to God I notice a difference. Even though I have paid a reduced amount of £600 its still a lot, if I don't notice a decent gain. Fingers crossed.Once fitted I will shove it on a rolling road and see what magical figure they clutch from the air. I reckon between 170BHP and 175BHP. 8)Ooops forgot to add, does anyone know if it is a 100cell or 200cell. Cheers Mick :blush:Watch this space.
Its essentially a Milltek therefore 200cell I think.
