for these maps you really need the 3" DP , sports cat or decat, intake and most importantly the bigger intercooler.

Yeah mod-b was for intercooler, cais, downpipe, sports and/or de-cat with system while mod-A is for bigger turbo.
Two guys in our club used mod-b and were running 297 and 301 bhp with mod-b and above mentioned mods.
I think mod-c is even better, it is £50-75 upgrade to your handset (I think DS also renew 1 of the handsets lives for this price)
