Six months sounds a reasonable guess but unfortunately it is a guess.

Manual Petrol with panoramic roof, HUD, and parking pack. Currently got a MK2.5 1.6 Zetec that's starting to fall apart so really hope I get lucky!

I've got HUD and pan roof.
Love HUD, find it really useful as I don't have to look down at the dash to see my speed. Also got signpost recognition set up on it.
When the weather warms up I might get chance to try the pan roof!
Had the car six months and the weather hasn't been warm enough to use it yet.

Was this a brand new order or did you snap up an existing order? Because thats really fast and a sign of things improving

Brand new order through Coast to Coast with Sandicliffe Ford. I wonder if it is to do with spec, I've gone for mean green with a pan roof, no performance pack.

I will, at the moment it's all set for me to drop my JCW off at my local Mini dealer on Thursday before heading down on train on Friday to pick the Focus up.

No probs, always been having 2 a year until covid etc. Yeap I was in mk4 until Nov then got mk4.5 and now ordered a new one
I'm sorry you've ordered another MK4.5 after picking one up in November? Is there a specific reason for this? Is this for the new performance pack.

What's that worth nowadays? I tried buying an Edge for my parents in the UK a few years ago and the London dealer was very evasive about the discount. Eventually offered me 1% off list. Is there a rule of thumb?
It was up to 20% off, but I’ve heard it’s not as good as it used to be and you could get up to 5 cars in 6 or 9 months. Their px offers can be poor though. Nissan used to be about 30% off. Loads of people around north east get their cars through Nissan employees. You can get around 10% off through carwow, was nearer15% when I got mine.
Did you get it faults sorted out or have you decided to try another?

i presume you have to return it to the dealer and cant sell it on privately if you get a discounted price?
