Don't forget it's RRP on the road but NOT including the road tax. Don't feel you have to buy it, you certainly don't. I would sit back, put a level head on and take stock. You have a string of reasons you can justify walking away from it and that is a BIG one, not that you need any. Check out the many new ones available now with dealers, to find the spec you want or would happily have, there's not many extras available so hopefully should be one and save that tax and the hassle of trying to sell it again without people turning their noses up at it. The PCP final values are low, far lower than their real values so that doesn't protect you at all really. My car is worth around £25k trade currently, was about £30.5K new after carwow discount (they have dropped a lot last 6 months was £30k) and that is still £10K more than what the final PCP payment was going to be in 6 months time at 3 years old. I have done some builds online and surprisingly even though they have gone up a ridiculous amount, the final PCP values are not much different to mine! However if you plan on and keep it for a number of years the problem eventually disappears to you and future owners. it's 6 years before it drops to normal Tax level. Can't really drop the roof now that it's built...
Mine is showing as a 2023 car but I don't think there has been any changes.
