Still says Michelin on the sidewall in that picture. What make and type are the tyres, have they dropped the PS4s ?
It's arty innit! Jaunty angle etc! 😆Did you drop camera !?When did you get it?
Be interesting to know the build dates on the labels under the bonnet (headlights etc) to get an idea how long since it was built?
Can you check the dates on the labels attached to the headlights etc ? Be interesting to know when it was assembled. All parts are on JIT principle. ie they are manufactured and arrive to be fitted within a few weeks or so of build. They don't have the space top store high volumes of parts or the will to buy them to sit on shelves. All of my Fords have matched up to within a few weeks. It's arty innit! Jaunty angle etc! 😆
I ordered 12/10/2021 so no idea when it was built, actually arrived mid Feb to the dealer but I didn't take collection until 17/03. Tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.
I do wonder if with the big interuptions to supply chains that JIT isn't so just as it used to beCan you check the dates on the labels attached to the headlights etc ? Will try and find time to look at the weekend, got a couple of other jobs to do.Can you check the dates on the labels attached to the headlights etc ? Be interesting to know when it was assembled. I hope not, I went from a focus ST into a Kuga for the last few years (don’t ask) and I’ve missed the Focus the whole time. There is nothing wrong with the Kuga as such but it can’t match the Focus as an all round package, even if they did make an ST version. But, in the electric future all things that make the Focus great will be lost with heavy batteries, range requirements and the suspension setups to compensate.I personally think the focus will be dropped this year in favour of the kuga. And the fiesta will follow not long after
It's a real shame what's going on.They couldn't afford to do that, they would be bankrupt in Europe, probably heading that way currently. Up until this crisis the Fiesta and Focus were massive sellers and had been for donkeys years they mainstay of Ford Europe with the Fiesta in the top 3 for pretty much 40 years! The Focus not far behind. The Kuga goes nowhere near making up for those two and never will, not a particularly good seller. It's probably getting more likely the ST is about finished, models like that just do them harm with financial emission penalties and they sell very few so becoming less viable. You would grab one if you can, can't go wrong. Not so sure on that, I don't think there will be much demand for them in the future, especially when you get left for dead by electric cars!
I think your dealer is just trying to manage your expectations when in fact they can’t say when there’s a build date. I was in my dealership on Monday and was shown the update on the system which was still showing as at least a four month halt on production from 21st March. Until production does actually start up again I don’t know how they can give any estimated build dates. I can see it being 2 years from when I initially put my order until I see mine 😂Just been told my Feb order is now planned for October build date...might get it before Xmas then!
When did you order yours ?Just been told my Feb order is now planned for October build date...might get it before Xmas then!
First few days of February - tbh the wait time doesnt really bother me too much as I am sat in the cheap little 70 plate Fiesta enjoying 45mpg.When did you order yours ?
