Hy guys what do you know about ITG filters are they any good?

I am thinking of making a costum intake similar to the DSCI one but i am going to use the ITG filter.

The cost is about 100 pounds for the entire intake.

I had an ITG on my CTR and it was excellent, although it should have been at nearly £400

I suppose you will just be using the filter head, dont think theres much in them all to be honest.

Thier induction (CAIS) kits are very, very good, the filter of choice in the Lotus world but as above, they are far from cheap.

I am not sure what you are looking at as, as above their basic kit (carbon housing and filter) costs about £400

They do do some basic plastic/alli ones that are a little cheaper.

The idea is that i will be using a itg filter and the pipe will be made costum. The filter is about 80 pounds. Those cais are expensive because of the carbon case. I will be fitting an open filter in the bumper like the dsci one.

They are expensive due to the quality of the bits and the R&D in designing these car specific systems.

Their filters are good though but if it is much better than the others I could not comment.

The plus side is atleast you know you have a quality filter by one of the best filters

Something to consider though is how much will designing building/adjusting, fixing etc. cost you and would you be just as well getting one off the shelf?
