Hey folks,

I had the pleasure off borrowing a Focus ST-3 the last few days and its really impressed me.

The car i borrowed had aprox 260bhp, all the toys and it was such a pleasure to drive.

I dont know anything about ST's so i hope someone can help a potential new owner.

The only thing thats going to put a stop to me buying one will be the tunning ability.

Who maps these cars and what software is used.? Is the OEM ecu capable off being re-flashed.? if so how mappable is it? I require something with unrestricted access to ignition / fuel / wastegate tables etc.

Sorry I should have been more clear in my requirements.

I want a solution to re-flashing the ecu with a map that I would create.

I'd need to know what software is available for the ST and which re-flash cable is required. Has anyone tried pulling the ROM from an ST Ecu to disassemble it.
