Just had a renewal quote off elephant and it's come to £760 for 10 months cover, were both 25 with no claims in the last 5 years and 1 years no claims bonus. To save time talking to ppl on the phone

i thought id ask you guys.

well mine come through for this month and it was £170 more than last so a little shopping around the other night and ive got it down to £420 fully comp im 25 full ncb.thats with a company called 4YOUNG DRIVERS off compare the market. it was £550 last year. ive also got it all with legal cover and £350 excess.

That sounds really good! Ill give them a try, elephant do this 10 month bnonus insurance thing so i wonder if other companys would take a year no claims as 10 months if that makes sense?

I was with greenlight but am now with equity red star as they protected my no claims bonus and gave me like for like cover on all my modifications. All for the same money as greenlight!

im getting worried coz insurance time is coming up, at the mo im at £700 with chris knott, done some quotes with compare the market nd directline and i cant get any under 1k, i have 5 years driving and 4 yrs no claims! well annoyed!

I also find that it costs a bomb to protect the NCB aswell, was £300 in some circumstances.

I always get rubbish quotes for the ST on the comparison websites. Just ring the specialists and you will be ok. Often they come in nearly half the price of Direct Line and Tesco etc. And that is Directline quoting for a standard car and the specialists quoting for all my mods

oh & 3 points for er erm er oh yes going fast hmmm

had one recent No fault claim which was delt very swiftly. Genuine ford repair.

I was insured with LV for ten years with only one no-fault claim and thre points. They would not insure my ST without me fitting a tracker so i dumped them. Did they want you to fit a tracker?

Yes mate, £300 Inc 12 subscription. But worth every penny. Had one on the M5 & have one on RR my choice to fit one but they also requsted not insisted

That makes me feel better! They quoted me £220 with a tracker.

Then got a quote from Elephant for £350 with no tracker.
