Hi all, After a bit of advice. Im going to get my MK4 remap at Dreamscience in new year but wanted to fit a Induction kit or panel filter just wondered if anybody had an previous experience if its worth the money.

Panel filter will be good enough, unless you’re going big power and need the extra air flow, even then it would be best to shield it off from the heat of the engine bay, tbh it will make next to no difference compared to a stock filter.

Just to clarify, are you asking whether anyone has previous experience of doing this on a Mk4 specifically or on any car?

If you're interested there's a Mountune m330 upgrade kit available for the Mk4 on eBay starting at £149 (ending in 5 days). Usually these are £589, then you can add the m365 for £99.

I currently have the mountune panel filter installed on mine along with the m365 kit. As expected it’s just as quiet as stock. I’ve ordered the MST induction kit and I’m looking forward to all the nice turbo and intake sounds.
