Sorry if this is a dumb question but I've searched here and looked in owner's handbook. What does the small square i indicator and the flashing red LED represent between the Coolant temp & Fuel gauge?

I think your talking about this light, as arrowed in the pic below, if so then it's the hand brake light.

On the facelift ST there is a square "i" symbol between the two guages and I thought it meant information. So when your washer fliud is low or door is open then this will stay on and the message relating to the problem will show on the screen if you scroll through using the twisty thing on the indicator stalk.
