Wont do it in a straight line , but a Ferrari FXX will do it most other ways , if you could bring it home from the factory

I could loose that with no problem what so ever, I dont think it would go over the speed bumps near I live as the ST has problems

nice, cant see them attempting many T-bones in that, not when the repair would cost more than a new ferrari

sure i remember seeing a picture years ago of some authority up England having a Ferrari to help police motorbikes! Anyone remember?
Im guessing thats a photoshop?

It looks great but in practical terms would make an awful police car! Rs4/ Rs6 avant though... ooh yeah!

Of course it is. It's a press photograph poorly photoshopped.

I'd be
off my tax has paid for such a pointless car. 200 ANPR equipped 5 Series however I wouldn't mind. For each service of the Veyron you could fund one traffic officer for a year.

My local plod is swanning round Hull in a fully equipped X5 at the moment, in addition to the fast pursuit team of an Evo 10 with a stripped out 335i which work as a pair.... The BM has a secret weapon though, there are no rear seats, instead theres a police dog in a cage, so if you cant get away driving and try to leg it, they let the dog out... I have no problem with the Evo/BM pair, but why do they need an X5??

It's large and practical. It can carry all their equipment, can tow, can venture off road if required etc. Do you seriously think the police pay anywhere near list price for a car?

its large agreed, but so is a Volvo estate that they usually drive, and the volvo can tow too.... an X5 is worse than useless offroad on road tyres, plus they have Defenders and Disco 3's for offroad stuff.... Just doesnt make sense when they could have had 2 volvos for the same price?

Do you know how much your force pays for their cars or are you basing that on the price you and I would pay for one at a dealer?
i know essex dont pay much for their cars. the evos and scooby ANPR cars are trawling round here quite a bit. saw a couple of them on the A13 the other night.
I can just see a veyron chasing some 15 year old in a vectra, around the local housing estate.
