I Want Stripes, What's The Width / Spacing Please

288 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Daz07
I want to put plain silver stripes on my focus and would like it to look factory fitted, I know ford sell these but at a cost.

I'm hoping a kind person out there could mesure the stripe widths and spacing so I can go to my local sign shop to get it done.

Am I right in thinking the stripes are 40mm? if so whats the width of the space between them.

Please help

Try dmb graphics mate...think the ones your after are only about 20 quid!!and there ready to go straight on as well!!
I got a quote from a firm to supply and fit for £70 which I thinks pretty good but want to make sure I get the right sizes

Had a look at DMB but dont fancy doing it myself on a new car.

Do it, did mine took ~25 minutes to put on, lined em up using masking tape to hold em in place, once happy peeled the back off and stuck em on. Dead simple to do.
I would get them from DMB mate and then get a local firm to fit them for you if DMB are to far away to do it for you, I tried to fit a set before and its nigh on impossible to get it perfect, its one of those jobs like plastering that looks easy but trust me...it isn't! Some people can do it but I and a lot of other people have found it very hard.

DMB sell the stripes for around £20/30 fitting should cost you no more than around £50. Then you know the stripes will look as Ford intended.

If you were near me I would do it for you, I'm hopeless with most stuff but I did my stripes myself and it really was easy. Just take your time with it, should take 10-15 mins each side to get it perfect. Anywhere that charges £50 to fit is ripping you off IMO
