Dear all,

Purchased a brand new ST3 yesterday in performance blue. I have come from a Type-R (2003) so hoping it gives me the joy she did.

Matey at the dealer told me it may not arrive until late Jan/Feb so I am chomping at the bit to get hold of it!!

to the club mate. I moved from an EP3 to the ST and i love it to bits

. I would suggest you get the ST mapped otherwise the performance is similar to the Type R.

Thanks very much everyone. I will be honest with you all, I am not too hot on the ins and outs of "specking" up cars, what will re-mapping give me and where would I get it done?

Ford rang me today and thankfully told me the car will be with me just after the new year.

welcome along mate!! join up as a full member and ull find all the info on modding ull ever need (plus TONS more)
A remap takes the car to 270 ish BHP and makes it a real weapon!!

to the family mate. Probably one of the biggest considerations if you're buying a new one is whether you want to maintain it's warranty. The one to go for in those circumstances is going to be Mountune. Not saying it's better than any other..just saying that's the one that is 'approved' and you get to keep your 3yr warranty...

Thanks for the advice everyone, I don't really want to mess with the warranty. I may consider the "official" then.
