This has probably been asked a million times so please forgive my ignorance,
I washed the car yesterday and it has been left overnight where it has frozen today my son came in and told me one of the washer covers was open i went out to have a look and sure enough it is it also feels quite loose is this a normal occurance or do i have need to worry and contact my dealer to book it in or will it possibly close itself up again,

I think it will close when it defrosts as said they are loose

Funnily enough I have come on here to ask exactly the same thing.

Is the actual washer up fully or just partway? One of mine is up by about 1-2 cm, it's minus 2 deg here so I'm hoping that once it warms up, the mechanism will 'unlock', and the washer will retract into the bumper.

Only had the car 10 days so I'm worried it's going to have to go in under warranty.

The cover is only partway open in fact it is only 5-10 mm,

If it's operated by water pressure, I guess the water is semi-frozen, so the Pressure is overcoming the return spring.

Will try warm water tomorrow..!
