i've seen them somewhere, they look OK, nothing special. You can probably paint your grille gloss black to the same effect and a lot cheaper. They are 5 mins to fit DIY btw, not sure where 50 quid fitment comes from

im tempted to just paint them but if they get stone chipped wouldnt they just start to flake and look quite naff?

pumaspeed sell standard grilles wrapped in CF-look film, it will get damaged as much painted one unfortunately.
