Hi all

My ST's rear brakes have been making an awful dull grinding sound of late whenever I'm applying the brakes. The car is a 57 plate and will be 3 years old in October 2010.

Does anyone know if this will be covered by warranty or am I being a bit hopeful there

Sounds like the pads are worn out down to the metal! I wouldnt try and claim it on warranty as they will just laugh at you! If it is worn out pads the discs will be scrap too so youll most likely need discs and pads replaced ASAP! I wouldnt drive it untill its done either!
