For the second year running Greenlight have come out top come renewal time.

Would just like to say a big thank you to Neil and the team at Greenlight for helping keep my insurance down to a reasonable level.

Anyone that have there renewal soon make shore that Greenlight is on the list of people to call.

im swapping to greenlight this weekend hopefully :)
I also insured with Greenlight this year, previously with churchill. A switch that saved me just under £500. Not to be sniffed at in these times.
Sky were far cheeper for me? i guess thats the insurance lottery for you.

I had been with Greenlight for 2yrs but they wouldn't match Skys quote (£72 cheaper) so I guess its profits before loyalty

Sky came close, £3 more and another £50 excess.
I don't understand insurance at all, i usually get 2 to 3 with in £50 than you start going up in £1000s and the ones that quote £1000s over my best think they have offered me a good quote lol.

whatever you do don't claim on greenlight. They are happy to take your money but come claim time...they'll pay ok then wont renew your policy.....

This would only happen in the event of a huge claim, we have a number of customers that have accidents mid year and still get invited at renewal. The price generally increases though with fault claim/loss of NCB.

However for the insurer to decline to quote the claim must be a potential high payout involving injury etc.

I had a third party drive into my stationary car in a petrol station fourcourt, no injurys and the third partys insurer repaired my car. But my insurance company still wouldn't give me a renewal quote?
That was with the co op, will never use them again.
i am with green light at the moment, but ive just rang ford insurance today because i am picking up a new st up in two weeks and they gave me a quote which was cheaper than my fiesta mountune zetec s!! ive yet to ring greenlight but they were the cheaper two years ago when i had my first focus st,wont be using ford insure because i hope to mod it.
