i moved out of parents for the 1st time last week woo go me

but i really cant afford to run the st and this place so ive made the decision to get rid of it

i still want summot half quick but a little better on fuel so ive opted to go look at a corsa vxr the vauxhall garage said they will give me ten grand in part ex and it will be standard so i get to keep all the mods so that will help out when i sell them.I know some of you are thinkin why are u gettin a vxr if your trying to save money? well the answer is im saving 100 pound a a month before fuel by getting it and 2 of my friends have vxr's and they are both ten times better than the st on fuel.All in all i can honestly say the st has been one of the best cars i have ever owned and will miss it but at the moment my place comes first so will be selling all the mods soon so keep your eyes peeled lol

Good luck mate. New home comes first and a Corsa VXR is not a shabby replacement. you may lose the 5-pot but you gain those amazing recaro's in the VXR!!

Hrm, I've just come the other way, and I wouldn't recommend the change from ST to VXR to anyone.

In comparison to the ST - ride is horrible, engine runs out of steam by about 100MPH, and there are so many problems with them, I dread to think how much a Corsa VXR would cost out of warranty.

Just keep it standard engine wise - so many people with melted pistons

got to say i agree with above .
i stopped a lad at work the other day in a red corsa vxr and when i started to talk about his car he wished he,d bought a clio sport as he had the engine replaced under warranty twice in the past 2 years, amongst other problems . he had not tuned the engine but had problems with oil leaks so many times .
