Wonder if you can help me.

I had a new windscreen fitted to the

due to it being hit by a stone.

When this happens do the need to remove the wipers ?

Since the new windscreen has been fitted the wiper blade on the passenger side sits to high up (compare to other ST's and pictures of my own with old windscreen) and when you use the wipers on a dry screen they make a horrible noise and judder as though the are on too tight.

Can the wiper arms be altered ?

The wipers will be removed and can therefore be realigned when refitted.
The juddering probably means that the blades need replacing.

keep an eye on your heated screen mate, after a couple of replacements in my old focus, i found the replacements seem to fail quite easily with the heated elements, and were no where near as good as the originals. fingers crossed the mk2/2.5's replacements are better than the old ones!
