I'm thinking about buying a Freelander 2 with a ford St engine. Can anyone tell me if this is a good vehicle or not

We can tell you something about the ST engine in its various guises but there won't be much knowledge of the vehicle you are thinking of buying.

I’m guessing you’re talking about the 2.2tdci unit, which was a pretty strong engine, unfortunately, it’s wrapped in a Land Rover, which are not strong or reliable unfortunately.
