Hi guys,

I'm fitting a battery isolator which is pretty easy for the most part but I need to identify the fuse for the main engine relay, so I can get the isolator to switch power to the fuse. Anyone done this and know which fuse I need to look at? Could be fuse 36 but I'm unsure.

Cheers,
Jonny

Full Digital Pre-FL Manual for you

9 30 Powertrain control module (FocusST only)
35 15 Powertrain control module, valves, solenoids, crank heater element (FocusST only)
36 10 Powertrain control module
Thanks mate. That was the info i was going off. Do you have the fiesta manual for 02-08 cars? Apparently they isolate across fuse 16 in the fiesta junior race cars and i might be able to cross ref from that.

I would have, but my sister has gone out in her car so I can't see the manual

Here's the manual, Fuse 16 looks like "Engine Management or electronic module"
Thanks mate, that's great. Someone on rsoc has also sent some wiring diagrams which should help too.

All sorted - thanks for your help. Fuse 9 is the one I need to switch. Cartek were able to confirm when I sent them the wiring diagram. Due to the 30A current, I will need to use their GT model rather than their newer XS one. But the GT is cheaper
