On behalf of my fishing club, Epsom angling, I have arranged to take some of the amputee lads and ladies from Headly Court military hospital. We have full disabled excess at our waters and enough volunteers, but what we do need is fishing tackle, condition not important. I will arrange collection.

We did something similar about ten years ago which was great fun and very worth while.
This won't be taking place till spring so gives us time to sort out equipment.

Good cause phil i will have a sort out in the next couple of days to see what ive got and let u know and my adress 2 pick up. And what do u mean about condition ive got some rods with missing eyes and also broken rods are you going to repair them 4 the lads. couple of old creels floats, feeders, tackle boxes, couple of rods that i will throw in

Matt, anything will be considered, i would guess if there any major damage then no, its more about getting them active and having fun then serious fishing, but they do tend to be competitive.

i just threw out an old rod a while ago
i used to love that rod as well
it was an auger mustang bought in 1978 ish sorry

What an awesome cause, Hope you guys have a great time. You say you have enough volunteers, if your short give me a shout. I'm a serving guy in the RAF and I used to be a keen fisherman.

Most of my gear is fly gear, but I spoke to a friend this morning and he is going to try to sort out an old ledger rod and float rod and some old reels

Mark, any course fishing equipment would be welcome, our lakes are mixed but mostly carp waters.
