Welcome :)
Welcome to the club :)
Big jump from a Mk1 to a Mk4.
Just a quickie, got a couple of blufins from my old cars. Anyhow, superchips can reprogramme my old one for 259 so I get fast road map for 313bhp. Anyones thoughts?
Welcome mate. I had an ST170 too and sold it two years ago and just got a Focus ST.

I loved my 170, had it 2008 to 2013. Chalk and cheese between that and this new mk 4 st.

I've also had Superchips/Bluefins on multiple cars from an early Ford Escort 1.8Si to a Ford Focus ST170 then a Ford Focus ST 2.5 to a Ford S-Max 2.2 TDCi to my Ford Kuga 1.5 ecoboost (the latter three were bluefin'd). All chipped from new & had big BHP + Torque increases with a Bluefin. Highly recommended although power is not as high as the Mountune option but less than half the price when on offer like at the moment - £250 or so.

Only problem now is bluefin isn't the same bluefin it once was, they went bankrupt and were bought by another company. In the transition a lot of the maps for older stuff seem to have been lost. Also they no longer list the 4 stages for the mk2 st, just the stage 1 that seems rather optimistic at 50bhp and 119nm increase.
True but I also had a Dreamscience Strategem map update as well with similar figures - 270PS (on the highest map stage 1) and approx. 440Nm. Mountune would my 1st choice but not cheap followed by Superchips - the bonus being you can put back to standard for Services etc.
