I've painted my upper grill metallic black and now want to do the larger lower one to match.
Problem is removal, I'm pretty sure it's only clipped in but can't seem to get the bl**dy thing to shift and don't want to break anything.
Any help / tips on removing greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

If it's similar to the pre-facelift I found the best method is to get under the car and drop the main undertray which then lets you remove the bumper undertray and access the retaining clips that way to help release the grille.

Yeah id like to know, also.

My facelifts two grills and diffuser are being removed next week for spraying.

I thought the bottom grill just pulled out, but knowing me, im wrong.

I've done it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my lower grill out today, a mixture of brute force and gentle persuasion on the clips from the front with a thin bladed flat screwdriver.

Will paint it tomorrow gloss metallic black to match my upper grill & rear diffuser which I've already done.

Happy days!!!!
