My St is going through a lot of rear tyres, when i say rear tyres i mean the rear passenger side tyre. It is excessively worn on the inner edge whereas the other side is still like new. I know she needs new front lower wishbone bushes with the front drivers side badly needing replaced. I have been told that this could be related, is this true or am i being fed a lot of

by the garage?
The garage also said that they hadnt a clue how to fix the camber on the rear axle so any advice or pointer would be appreciated.

needs a full alignment check. that should sort it. yeah worn bushes can cause excessive tyre wear. take it somewhere that deals with alignment on the focus as even the mk1 focus you could adjust the rear camber so id suggest taking it elsewhere if the dont know how to adjust it as its basics tbh

I have those fitted.

Yes that is the cheapest place. I think Rude Racing may have been a tiny hit cheaper, but they didn't have them in stock.

The only way to adjust rear camber properly is by fitting these. You also need another different part to adjust the front. Without fitting these, the only way to slightly change the camber is by adjusting the toe, but obviously that's not ideal!

You can still fit them to standard cars. However a standard car is unlikely to have dodgy camber for no reason. Especially just on one side. I would check the bushes out.

I know Collins/Profile will do a full set of Powerflex ones for about ÂŁ300 fitted.

Deffo get the bushes sorted first. Had the wishbone bushes done last week as well as a fresh set of boots all round - 40k and one bush was dry, the other one soaked the mechanic when he tried to remove it

. Had bad tyre wear on the outside edge of both offside tyres.
