Sorry - ignore this thread, I've just found the answer by using the search facility!
It's the Power Assisted Steering Hose - Clearance check.
Just checked mine " Bored" and i still have the power steering check outstanding?

I know its been checked on its first service, so are these things just a guide?
Phil, is that one not the later check they brought out for a possible issue with PAS hose clearance to the front subframe, not the original one for the loose union on the reservoir?

Knowing the age of your ST the clearance check only came out maybe 2008 so wouldn't have been picked up during your first service. Also, even if it has been into Fords since then, it has to be manually cleared off the system once the check has been done. If not it still shows up.

Cheers troy, i will get it checked again just to be sure, though i'm sure Gary would have checked this in one of the services i had up there.
