Essential Mods

489 Views 20 Replies 15 Participants Last post by  coxy1978
I've had my ST-2 for exactly a year now and having found this site yesterday, am keen to customise.

Has anybody got any essentials mods that they can recommend?

Thanks

Alrite mate,

There is a neverending list of mods you can do but the fundimental one i would say is a remap. There are many choose from incl. Code red, dreamscience, Bluefin etc.
After that you need to start looking at suspension (maybe some eiback springs) and then intercooler, induction. It just depends on how far you want to go.

Cheers

Absolutely love the Eibach springs I've had fitted, I had them for a week with the car as standard and then got a Level 2 remap from Code Red. Love them both but the Eibachs are amazing.

I also had a ST for a year as standard so I really notice the difference!!

I'm going to have to get me some Eibachs. Really want black alloys too, is that wrong?

No, black wheels would be good. What colour is your ST?

Electric orange. I think that and black alloys look gooood. Just got to decide which ones...
I'd say Mountune - but I'm biased . . . then Eibachs!

The standard ST wheels look good black, unless your after some 19's and in that case I would either go for some RS ones, some OZ Superturismos or some BBS CK's in anthracite.
In order of priority

Dreamscience

Eibachs

Intercooler - various available Airtec is top value

Dreamscience Induction

Full Zorst Including sport cat and downpipe

Job done

The way I did mine was random

Dreamscience (don't regret getting first)

Cat Back (for noise)

K&N GenII (should have saved money up and bought DS Induction as I will be going for it in future)

Airtec Intercooler (should have got earlier)

Sports cat and downpipe (definately feel the difference. plus lots and lots of bangs out of the back
)

Next I think is Mod C update, Eibachs and RARB (I think I should have gotten it lowered before now)
