Yep, that sounds pretty much exactly what it's supposed to do. It will go bonkers this time of year if you have a heavy right foot.

cheers mate appreciate the fast response!! thought that was the case but i like to check neway!!! another question for ya, was reading the topic about boost and how the sts boost doesnt kick in all the way to 3/4 it lingers around a quarter then half then eventually 3/4? does tht make sense? its not called turbo lag but boost threshold!! its in the forums pause in power and standard boost pressure.
I hope ive not got a problem with my boost, the highest ive seen it is the lower end of 3/4.

will the mountune remap rectify this? jus want ur opinion of it, cuz i think mine does it but not sure i really need to pay attention to the gauge and wot revs im at when the needle moves!!
another thing when is the best time to change gear on a standats
??

Cheers mate apprecate it or ne1 else tht can help!!

When mine was standard it boosted to about 2/3 and held about 1/2 so its normal. Any remap will make the boost needle spike to 1.2 bar

I don't bother taking the the revs past 5500rpm as the power seems to die off up there... Have to admit the final 500rpm before the redline do sound good though.... But all noise no go
