I’ve just picked my car up from the airport car park after getting back from holidays,so car has been sat for 11 days and now it has an engine management light and a “engine oil change due” warning on the dash. It was last serviced just under a year ago and covered just over 5k miles since. Any ideas?

As a matter of interest, I just had the oil changed on my RS last week as part of its 12th Service.
Since its previous service in June 2021, the car had covered less than 400 miles!

I know, I know - I'm officially an RS Garage Queen now :ROFLMAO:

To reset the mesage,
Ignition on, don't start the engine.
Press brake and accelerator at the same time.
After a couple of seconds, oil change reset message will display.
After about 30 seconds a completed message will appear.
Turn off ignition.
I change my oil and filter every six months regardless of the mileage covered. One of those at the same time as annual service/ MOT.
