if you have stage 2 on the bluefin,it will cost you £50 or so to get the stage 3 map from superchips, once you have got that, the stage 3+ is a free upgrade.

read my signature,i use the auto specialists cais, cheaper and imho just as good.

Don't think you can actually read off the Bluefin handset which map is actually installed. And the dealer has led you slightly astray saying you can just 'turn it down from full power'

Depending which level map you've got you can download the Superchips Bluefin Desktop software then ask them to email you the maps for your handset (up to the level the handset is at) and then you can connect to the PC to change which map is on the handset. So if your handset has been upgraded to Stage 3 you'll have Stage 1, Stge 2 and Stage 3 maps to play with, if it's not had the Stage 3 upgrade then you'll have versions of Stage 1 and Stage 2 to play with.

Stage 2 is a free upgrade from Stage 1, and you can ask Superchips to include the decat file for Stage 2 to stop the light coming on.

Best to ring Superchips or pm Jamie on here (forum ID Superchips) I think they'll need your car's VIN number and the serial number off your handset to determine which maps you've got access to.

There's quite a few CAIS to choose from for your ST - determines how much you want to spend and if you want more induction noise or go the quiet route. The K&N is a good kit and I ran it on mine for a few years before I did some mods to it.
