We could probably do with a bit more info ie age, mileage, any modicications etc. but even without that I would search for threads on the alternator and oil filter diaphram.
Engine Light
i have got a squeaking noise coming form my engine and the engine light has come on any ideas what it could be? and why it has done it ?

its on a 06 plate its done 58k and its just got a dump valve and cat back no it at the mo
