Dyno Dynamics In Administration.

Dyno Dynamics, the OZ manufacturer of rolling roads much favoured by a number of 'tuners' in the UK went into administration arround 2 weeks ago.

I have noticed that there has been comment here on the results obtained by ST owners on RR events when they have had their cars run on these machines, and I have to say that it is not so much a question of not having egos flattered by printouts from Dyno Dynamics operators but their apparent inability to get the cars to run in a consistant, informative and comparative way that I have noticed. Now that could partly be as a result of needing to get a lot of cars through of a saturday to get a fair income in and partly due to owners not understanding the value of other recordable data in reaching conclusions as to the robust nature of their modifications and not expecting or indeed demanding it.

One of the members of the Volvo owning community has prompted an anonymous and tetchy reply from a clearly interested party here on the VOC forum http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.p...1457#post591457

Apart from comment here there is the opportunity for ST owners to run their cars on a bang up to date MAHA machine at Marlin in Bletchley, MK next saturday 5th.Dec. which might confirm or otherwise the veracity of their results from elsewhere.

Regards, Don.

Hi Don

Not sure why you feel the need to make such a post as it will not effect the owners of these excellent machines once my gearbox woes are sorted i will be doing a back to back test on a few other machines.

I asked Mike Gurney to post a few facts about the DD rolling roads, i like to get information from the very best people not chinese wispers from a forum.......I have found the Dyno dynamics rollers to be really accurate and the information you need is all there if you ask for it
they tell it how it is

Its nice to see you promoting the very machine that RICA use to test all there excellent products the MaHa is a good machine by the way but there are few RR other then Dyno Dynamics that can handle a genuine powerful FWD car.....

Didn't see any problem with Don posting this info myself
