Hi guys...

I have trawled the forums and worn out the search engine on this one!!!

I have the opportunity to buy a brand new DSF3000.

The question I have is:

Does it come per-installed already with maps, or are they blank.

If they are blank, how much are the maps to add on if thats possible?

I have emailed Jared but at this time in the morning, he is still asleep! How dare he

!!!

(the person I am buying from is selling it on behalf of a friend who is currently working abroad so answers are few and far between due to time difference etc!)

If as you state that it's brand new then it should come with certain maps installed, what they are i don't know, think it might be in your best interest to get some more info from the actual seller

it is brand new, box still sealed etc. Will make some more enqs...

Scott, hold your horses on the DFS3000 as IIRC they are a custom unit that the DS boys give to their dealers.

Thanks Ryan... I appreciate that.

I have had a look at the picture he sent me and to be honest, I can't tell the difference. He told me it was a Stratagem Dsf3000 but didn't tell me if it's preloaded or not... He mentioned both in the title which has slightly confused me!!!

The package looks like my DS unit from what I remember

I haven't look at it for over six months so don't take my word on it

I'd wait to see what the DS boys have to say

It is the strategem model with 4 tunes on and has 5 lives left so it is brand new!!!

I have to contact DS to get the free upgrade as the tunes need updating on it!!

Off to collect it now!!!

First things first..... I just want to say a big thank you to Carl & Jared @ DS...I pestered them this morning for advice and no matter how busy they were, they managed to give me all the advice I needed in great detail. Thank you VERY MUCH

I have installed it with no issues on Race + .. Does it still need upgrading at all as per our conversation on the phone? If so, can you advise how I can do it please.
