Finally, my DS Induction should arrive tomorrow. Almost guarantee that it will come whilst I'm at work
Last time UPS delivered something and I missed it I was given the option of picking it up 45 minutes away

Prey that its one of the Manchester depots and not Congleton again

The clips on youtube are pretty rubbish to be honest... Will it sound like this??

Good man, you will love it. It does make that loud sucking noise, but it does seem distorted on the utube clip - you will love it mate

Im up at Dreamscience at Hull tommorra getting my induction kit fitted....

And cant wait
I've already done the hard bit as I removed the airbox to fit the K&N gen II. Can't see it taking me more than 45 minutes from start to finish. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas day

In hindsight whenever I say that I should have at least doubled it

lol thats dedication for you lol, well either dedication or excitement
when you fit it, be sure to allow for engine movement...as they can hit the strut brace if not positioned just right

Is this kit safe when driving over big puddles on the side of the road?

If crossing fords on a regular basis then not a good idea.
If concerned about flooding don't go through it - turn around.

I killed a Mondeo TDCi in flooding on standard induction.
From now on be it standard or modified induction I'll be doing a u-turn.

Just have to be sensible and drive according to the conditions.
I was crawling in the Mondeo at the same speed as everyone else btw.
Most made it some did'nt.

I fitted it last night

The "45 minute job" turned into 2 hours
Pretty tricky in parts! Oh well its all done now. Think I will be getting the RS ecu cover in the future though to finish off the engine bay.

I changed from a K&N Gen II and this is much louder. You can hear the air rushing into the engine and then the standard DV dumping. I have already found how to get different noises
If I just change gear as normal I get a normal DV noise but if I floor it and lift off slightly I get some nice chatter

I know I'm a sad
but it has to be done

It feels a bit less restricted than the K&N but its probably just my mind playing tricks. I just wanted the noise

So all of my engine power mods have been completed now... Not sure where I go from here when I get used to it
I will just sit back and enjoy

Its a great piece of kit, thinking of putting standard exhaust back on as the piper is drowning the noise out
