hi all

had my car in at ford recently after it had been stolen for an engine check as the oil sump was damaged

engine was fine but i had a ds map on the car and im abit worried that ford might have wiped the map off which in turn would render my handset useless

my question is how much would it be to have the handset reset? and how much it would it be to have the extra maps added at the same time modb+ etc ?

Did you ask the Ford garage if they had plugged it into one of there diagnostic machines

. They may have done nothing and you'll be OK!

hi m8 it was done through the insurance so i wasnt there when they did the engine check but im just assuming that if they plug it in to do the diagnostic they might update the ecu and wipe the map they were only checking if the engine was ok as the oil sump was damaged so im not sure what they would have done to check it?
