Well if it like their other items they sell they won't have made it. Irrespective of them saying they have designed it & tested it!! It will be another companies item they have got on license & rebadged. Hopefully they tell the parent company this time unlike various other bits of kit they 'made' and rebadged but didn't tell the actual manufacturer!

Chances are it is probably an Airtec or ProAlloy intercooler.

Well Nick,

What can we say, you seem to know more than we do? Not that we have to justify our internal operations to you but I will however to set you straight in this instance.

Our MK4 bought for development has been used to prototype an intercooler at Radtec, and yes we don't make intercoolers. We de however measure, design, stringently test and co develop the system with an existing and reputable manufacturer as we have done with several other of our products and make no secret of this!

I am not sure where you are going with this negative feeling post as even Ford themselves don't make the majority of their parts they are designed, then outsourced and finally manufactured and assembled in house, said parts in many cases fit several other applications in many cases too.

We have many custom label products manufactured for us for example KW if ordering in batches of 25+ make our springs and spacers with our own part number, colour and unique packaging although essentially they are still the same in operation and functionality to the generic version but in most cases we can use this custom label to offer them cheaper and benefit the tuning community.

Take a look at our Instagram story today and you will see the new MK4 Intake built in house as a prototype, now we get a machinist to mass produce it, if that's ok?

Have a read of this months Evo magazine where they did a full editorial on our MK4 car and see what you think, they loved it!

All the best
