Its willie waving time. I hate to brag but I am very happy. Please don't burst my bubble!
Got my new Dreamscience induction kit fitted today and got it rolling roaded. Also cleaned the maf sensor.
My car had a GGR cais before and on a hot day last summer when I added my intercooler and uploaded MOD-C it only made 282bhp +325ft/lbs.
I was a bit dissapointed but I put the poor result down to the hot weather and mods settling in. When I drove it home it felt slow until halfway then the turbo started scrolling and it went rapid.
Today it made 305.5bhp + 355ft/lbs on the 3rd run:thumbsup:
The 1st 2 runs it did 303 and the torque figure was in the 360ftlbs area so Jared said always go off the 3rd run not the highest torque reading so you get a realistic result.
I am very pleased and the graph is so smooth all the way round. Fueling spot on too.
I told Carl not to rag it on the quarter mile so the clutch, tyres and engine do not get wrecked. It span up a bit but taking it easy in 1st and 2nd, and changing up early it still did it in 14.1 secs @ 108mph. He said its a gooden and he could have got a 13.5 secs and a few more mph if he would have ragged the
off it. I am 1 happy chappy!
On the drive home the induction kit sounds out of this world. It now sounds like a beasty old skool turbo and it pulls so much more and more freely now.
It seems a lot more responsive, picks up earlier and the car seems so much more faster. It could be partly down to a nice clean maf sensor.
If anybody is thinking of getting an induction kit from dreamscience I cant recommend them enough. Great service, great results and a loud sucking sound to die for!! Oh, and when you let off the gas it dumps the air nice and loud. No need for a dump valve now.
I went for white samcos with little blue decals on them which look cool!
