ive just fuelled up until it cut out at £48 quid and it says ive only got 206miles left in the tank......will this adjust to my average mpg currently 19.1mpg or is their a way of resetting it as surely that cant be right?! Ive never filled it to the top before

I dont know if you can reset that part of the settings mate, but at 19.1 average that sounds about right for a full tank. Its worrying when you do it but when I leave the Nurburgring and head for home with a full tank if I've done 4 laps I usually get about 170 miles showing on the miles to do side of things. This usually increases to around 240-260 before I'm back down there so it will even itself out over a few weeks unless your right foot is perminently nailed to the floor.

Hope it helps mate.
You can't reset the miles to do after a fill up it goes on the average you have been doing, lift your right foot a little and it will go up
Reset all the fuel readings...ave mpg, distance to empty, trip meter, then you should get an average on what your driving style is that moment

I dont think this is correct. I think the miles to go is an average for the car and cannot be reset no matter what you do, please put me right if I'm incorrect.

I wouldn't worry about it. The car will use as much fuel as your driving style dictates. In fact, if you think about it, unless you use the whole tank on one single run the estimate of 206 miles cannot be right....

it's probably gonna be less

Sorry,Mick5994 is right, working on a full tank of 45 litres, unless you run really low on fuel,if your nailing it for a full tank, you get approx 180-190 miles, averaging 19mpg,cruising at 56mph,your average would be 35 thus increasing the distance to empty status.
the distance to empty is based on average and trip readings,eg..go fast--dist down.....go slow--dist up
hope this helps cos im lost
just jumping in here? is this on a standar st or u got mods? i average about 300 to a tank. usually more and im not exactly light footed....

Pull the KAM fuse and it will reset the fuel range as there will be no average mpg data from the last tank full !!! !!!!!

Look on the first post on this thread, he's got lots of mods on his
.

And I think Mike's got a serious case of "lead foot"

I think you did really well to get 150 miles out of £20!!

That means 300 miles would be £40 but for me thats basically a full tank range and that costs £54 at the mo and I do a lot of motorway miles

I'd say the 6 miles a day is the biggest issue with your fuel economy. I used to do a similar journey and my fuel consumption was double what it was on a longer run!

dont get me wrong, when i do longer journeys i normally average mid to high 20's, i suppose my best bet next time is to fill up before a long journey and see what it says then. When you fill up my OH's clio it shows you what is left in the tank but this goes up and down along with the average mpg, so i think i was expecting this to happen in the

Had a bit of a shock today! Put £15 of fuel in last night, but didnt have V power so had to put in normal Shell. Range 120miles, fair enough, get around 155 with V Power. But just done a 35mile trip today, took it really easy, and range is now 40miles left!!! Never putting normal shell in again
DSCi drinks the stuff! lol
