Hi m8y,
resonated exhausts are quieter than non resonated - so depends on the sound you want to get from your exhaust system. I have a resonated Milltek and it sounds perfect for me
I can't honestly comment on Mongoose although I'm sure others will shortly.

All the best

QUOTE(rshead @ 31 Dec 2009, 10:16 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Im getting my focus st in 2 weeks time & 1 thing i want to do is change the exhaust for a cat back
But whats the diffrence between a non-resonated & a resonated?
But considering a mongoose as well, what would be the best one to go for in everybodys opinion?
thanks

Resonated has an extra silencer underneath the car and the non-resonated doesn't. So the resonated is quieter

I have Mongoose and I'd thoroughly recommend getting one and using the money you save from not buying the Milltek on something else

I have a non-res cat back Milltek system and it suits me perfectly. It gives a nice ' growl ' under acceleration. There is some cabin noise at mid range but nothing, in my opinion, that makes it too noisy.

Good choice on the Milltek, it's a lovely system to have fitted
