As anyone used Demon Tweeks in Wrexham to have 4wheel alignment done on their Focus ST, how was their service? Do Profile Automotive in Stockport do 4wheel alignment?

Thanks Shaun

Hi Shaun

I got my Eibachs fitted at Demon Tweeks. Very good service, immaculate garage and the 4 wheel alignment they did was great. I got a before and after printout showing all the settings and if there were out of limits. As a side note, I certainly would never get a car lowered again now without getting it aligned afterwards. The rear was well out after it was lowered.

No complaints at all about them.

Mine felt ok after they did it last year but when I took it to MPG to have it all checked (fronts scrubbing on insides) and expecting them to be out cos of some of the work done on my car last few months it was actually the rears which were out, and they hadn't been touched since it was originally done at Tweeks.

Very good service at MPG I thought

kwik fit lol

probably demon tweeks, car being serviced this week (21000mls) so i`ll get the tyres checked for any scrubbing or unusual wear and then book it in a demon tweeks if ness.

Now that's advice! I use Elite in Rainham but used to buy stuff for my mini from DT back in the day...

My post was more about the off-message posts about other tracking firms... DT are great and we should say so for your benefit!

I've had tracking done whicH has exacerbated handling probs. I've probably got a great handling ST now but the TCS won't let me find out unless I switch it off. Still, I don't have problems with tramlining any more but the TCS is awful until I get that orange light on the dash...

I dont agree that it wasnt helpful.
Profile dont do wheel alignment, so the only option is DT if the only two places we can give advice on are the two places the OP mentioned.
Plus, the ironic thing is you moan and say "off-message posts about other tracking firms" but then you mention Elite in Rainham??? How does that work? Surely that's you talking about other tracking firms?

IMO it's only helpful to ellaborate and give more advice to the OP.

I've only ever heard good things about Midpoint Garage.

How is everywhere the same?
Surely some places are better than others, or are you certain everywhere is just the same?

QUOTE(converted chris @ 11 Nov 2009, 11:20 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>depends on the people who you ask speak to, one group of people will say X company is great and Y is bad and others will say the opposite
We are one group of people, arent we?
And we can all have differing opinions, that's what makes the forum such a diverse place to be.

At no point have I said DT arent a good company, if read my posts you'll realise I havent said either Profile or DT are bad companies, just that I've heard good things about MPG.
I'm not sure where you're going with this if I'm honest, just seems that you're being a little awkward for some reason.
