If the threads duffed you could retap the hole and put in a bigger bolt 🙂
Damaged threads on turbo
I was looking for boost leaks on my st when i noticed one of the bolts on the Bov was loose i tried to tighten it but it seems the threads on the turbo have been damaged. Is there any way to fix this? or am i doomed and do i need a new turbo.

Maybe a helicoil would do the job too?
