I went to get my wheels refurbished this morning as they were in need of some loving attention. Half an hour after getting back I had a phone call from them saying that they'd found a hairline crack running the full length of my wheel

He said he could get it repaired and I could use the spare in the meantime

.

Ive decided I might as well just buy a new one, so i'm now frantically trying to find somewhere that'll be able to supply one for me.

Has anyone got any experience of cracked wheels? Is it like to go flying off at any moment?

Just got another call and apparently two wheels are cracked. Today is getting expensive

I've spoken to Compomotive direct and they're sorting me out. £463.68 with a 20 day production time.

Sorry to hear that rich,
Maybe an excuse get a whole new set of RS wheels for example.
Just an idea anyway!
Or I think Lee is selling his wheels still, but not sure?

Im asuming that price is for two?

If it is then if i were you id look at various other wheels that are available as for £900 + you could get a set of four different ones and still be quids in

yeah i thought about that chris. Problem is I can't really afford the £500 quid as it is, so I can't stretch to a grand for a new set. Plus I'd probably want to go to 19" so i'd need new tyres too.

To be fair the two that have been refurbed look as good as new.
