Collins And Baileys Dv??

I'm thinking of ordering a dump valve but can't really decide between the baileys dv26 or the collins dv any advice on which one to choose? i'v found a collins on ebay but do you need a fiiting kit hose like the samco one for the baileys or is this the complete kit in the link below for the collins

hi, thats the complete kit as you use the hose youve already got and just reverse which way you put it back on, its a
to get of though as the heat had melted mine to the jubilee clip so had be very careful not to rip it when i got it off

Whats the benifit of baileys over collins, i notice you have some serious code red gear and Gary aka code red recomended i had a collins fitted

Collins is the better valve imo, ive heard the valve is less prone to breaking too

The latest collins type that you and i have Andy, has re-worked internals just for the

Its been so wet i may swap for a canoe?

Do you keep the symposer pipe with the new collins type then? It's the main reason I'd rather get the Baileys...

yep you do get to keep it mate. Mines in a jiffy bag in the boot

I agree, i went for the baileys, sounds really nice to. Very happy


I always thought with the Colins DV that the symposer pipe was lost. I didnt want to lose the lovely sound from the ST so hence why i made the baileys choice

So the bit that carries the noise to the cabin is lost isn't it? I think I'll go for the Bailey DV26 then

Hi people havent read the whole thread cuz its nearly 2!! and am tired! anyway been looking into dump valves and would like ppls opinion of which is the best one? I you lot will think lazy git jus read the thread and find out! bu im throwing in a twist! What do u ppl think to the turbosmart compact dump valve for the
? is tht the best one out of all three? cheers for ur help and well patience for i guess my lazyness and being a newb!!
