Wondering if anyone else ST clunk's when changing gear when the engine is cold? Seems to stop once warmed up?

Also should say it seems to clunk cluck when the clutch is lifted up rather than gear change itself

Probably the torque restrictor is allowing the engine to move under load.

Based on the experience with my Mk2, I'd guess that was the case too
