Hi, (This is for clarification ONLY) and not to start anything off!!!! WEST YORKSHIRE REP

The North West rep - thestumper has Cumbria, Lancashire, Manchetser, Mersyside and WEST YORKSHIRE

The North East, YORKSHIRE and Humber rep - Vicorofsheff has County Durham, East Yorkshire, Northumberland, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Tyne + Wear

So as per the above 'Thestumper' should be our rep according to the OC wording, but we have the vicarofsheff who is also our rep.

Maybe this is one for ST OC ADMIN to clarify, but who do we contact about our region???? WEST YORKSHIRE

This has caused confusion for people who are not regular or part of behind the scenes

Living in Leeds (West Yorkshire) my personal opinion and no disrespect to anyone is i will try to go to meets in the North West but my main Region is the North East as it is much closer for me. I also think Yorkshire being the biggest county should be a region in it own right, again these are just my thoughts.

I too am in West Yorkshire, and when joining the club, curious to know what region I was in, thought it a bit odd that West Yorkshire was classed as the North West - maybe 'cos it's got West in its title

however I have attended meets in both North West and NE Yorks & Humber areas, along with most other areas too!

Even if West Yorks was moved into the NE region I would not feel that I was imposing on attending the meets in the NW...

As has always been the case, go to which ever meets you want/can attend, i don't see what difference it makes personally. This is always going to be an issue when people are on the division lines between regions.

It would be better for Admin to clarify this but i just can't see how it can be any clearer, go to the meets you want to and that are within travelling distance for you to get to. No one is ever going to say your not welcome at a meet because of where your from!

As for a yorkshire only region, i just think its not needed, the club is divided into regions quite well at the moment. If its split for Yorkshire then where does it end?

Same for me mate, i have allways been part of the Northwest, but found a short while ago that Cheshire is listed as Midlands. As it is i live in north chehire which is closer to most of the northwest meets. Got to say though i dont really care and i have been to meets in loads of different regions far and wide..

I'm on the border and in theory I'm in the NW region, but most of the events I have been on have been arranged by largey or the Vic as the NE/Yorks rep so I count myself lucky that I can attend the meets for both regions.

We're all up North so both regions groups will generally be attended by friendly people.

In regard to any changes to a Region we do review them occassionally, and rest assured this will be discussed in the future.

Can we have an East of Central if we are changing the regions, we dont mind having a bit of or all of Yorkshire in it!
