Chequers, Springs & Smd's

Hello peeps, im lokoing into the possibility of getting some Chequers for my Silver St, was wondering if there are any out there already done, and if there are any pics so I can see how it looks.

The other things im looking into are Eibach springs, does anyone recommend a supplier/fitter of these?

And S.M.D's. Not sure what it stands for but seen them on the Profile Automotive site, and think the pictures look awesome, what are peoples thoughts on these?

Thank you very much.

Paul.

SMD means surface mount diodes
. As for chequers on a silver , i could not decide on a good combination and after some of the problems that people have had with them i decided against them !!!

Wow Allan the solid looks so much better, did you jack the car up to turn the front wheels to see the calipers,or did you just roll it forward

hi mate,
i moved from side stripes to cheques and am glad i did as i think it finishes the car off better, if you get springs too not only will it help your handling but obviously make it look a bit better too with there being less gap in the wheel arches and as for smd's i highly recommend them, pics don't do them justice!

SMD`s look awesome mate!!

The cheques on the side look pathetic though and ruin the car it would be alright and a corsa or nova etc. but people on here must be ging thourgh a midlif crisis lol

Just my opinion though.
Love the SMDs, just 1 question though. Why on an ST dashboard is there a diesil Coil light??

You joke but I fear in the days of CO2 paranoia that Ford will make the ST a "STDCi". VW are with the Golf!

Are Profile still doing the SMD upgrades?
I was under the impression that as Daz who did them for Profile won the lottery, he was no longer bothering with trivial things such as work??
Daz is still doing the SMD's for us - however you have to travel to his workshop in Grimsby to have them done

They could badge it as an STD. Oh the horror
