Catback. Which One?

Looking at buying a catback system but not sure which one to buy. At the minute I'm looking at buying a Blueflame. Any advice on which is the best one to go for. Cheers

Depends on what style you are after, i choose the janspeed one with 4` rolled in i think. To be honest the new dreamscience cat back looks like a great bit of kit. Thats next on my list of things to do.
Have to agree that the new Ds one looks the business , wish i had waited for it now

All depends how much noise you want. Milltek resonated is quietest, Piper loudest... mongoose somewhere in middle. Janspeed dont make ST exhausts any more, nore do Magnex. Scorpion are cheap pn Ebay but there are not many of them fitted on here. Both Profile/Wolf and Performance Deals UK have offers on exhausts at the moment, and as mentioned drewamscience have just released a new design of cat back whichI think is built my Blueflame.... So you choose how much noise you want, them pick your price and tips....

The dreamscience one is the mutts nutts mate, saw in the metal at their HQ a few weeks ago, and it is a very good price too, I would put it on mine had I not put the Mountune on - which also sounds great

I went for the Mongoose 4" Rolled In for two reasons, 1 it was cheap and 2 it looks great.

Personally I'm well chuffed with it and wouldn't consider changing it for a more expensive version.

Hope this helps

Mongoose although I'm still undecided on the 4" rolled out tailpipes. May have to change in the future

is the mongoose exhaust much louder than standard at cruising speeds or when not accelerating hard?

Not really. When accelerating gently you know it's there but it's not intrusive. Once up to speed mine is as quiet as stock

its certainly tempting, they do sound great (you tube) and are cheap (<£300), i just dont want to drive around sounding like a chavvy boy racer in his corsa 1.2 with a big bore on

i am unsure!!

It makes a good, powerful noise. Not a farting noise
