A guy from works brother traded in his Kia Ceed last week. It was a year old when he bought it £8700 kept it a year and got £9000. Funny my ST was a 2 years old 14.000 and when i went to trade mines in it had lost £5000
. Any way cant get much better than that.

I actually really like the Cee'd. If I needed cheap, reliable transport and had to buy new, this would be a the top of the list.

Trade in price is fairly irrelevant to be honest. The cost to change price that is though.

Chances are he probably paid list price for whatever he bought but they offered over book on the trade in to make the deal look more attractive.

I was speaking to someone I sold a Ka to 10 years ago when they were offering them out at £4995. He just traded it in under the scrappage scheme for £2000. That's cheap motoring.

I bought our lass a CTR in 04 I got it from new for £15,500 (had options, air con etc) i traided it 8 months later for £16K (rember I also did not have to pay for the 1st years tax so even more profit
) I swapped it against a LCR (same age) but got them to do the 1st years service in with the price so changed to a more expensive car, saved the cost of the service for just £1000
